Nothing worse than having food you just got, and not having any seats available but seeing everyone else "saving" seats before they have their meals. I understand why people save seats (if I don't, someone else will take it). But it is completely wasteful and inefficient use of a scarce resource (tables). I bet if no one saved seats but only sat down when they had their food, and left after they ate, there wouldn't be a problem getting a table to eat at.
