Saving seats is the de-facto social standard. If Disney doesn’t want table
saving, they should say so. Not only that, but they don’t even say you have to be eating to sit at a table. Maybe you just want a break in the A/C.
It’s also social protocol to not share a table in a restaurant. If Disney wants to change this, again they should say so.

Plenty of selfish idiots in Disney parks. But I think you'll find them less often there compared to real life.
