It would be unexpected for sure, statistically unlikely and unfortunate, but feasible. It's also feasible to get 5 or more. Not likely, but a possibility.
Being listed in a Top 6 or Top 5 or Top 8 is awesome, but the vast majority of teams listed in a Top 5 (or 6 or 8) don't end up getting the recruit.
I also missed Ethan Thomason, who was listed in the article and who I think we have a pretty good shot at. He's honestly more of a mid-level 3-star by 247 composite, and may have been the one intended for that #9 spot. I just guessed it was Esera. Taking Fano and Esera off that list and adding Thomason (so matching the names listed on the article) the O/U for guys we get from that group of 8 (Clegg, Cormani, Snowden, Lefau, Lyons, Bowers, Thomason, Waller) is probably 2.5 (or 2.7 or so).
I'd take the over there, feeling pretty solid on Waller, Bowers and Thomason.
