I remember that getting a LOT of pub back in the day. I guarantee
a couple of those were walkon offers, though.
Mormon/BYU lore --even when true-- generally leaves those sorta details out.
Robbie & Randy --like I said-- were respectable recruits — & Roger (& BYU's staff for some time) was respected on the national level. No one should be shocked that some big-name coaches wanted some savvy, disciplined, & fairly athletic kids like his sons on their roster.
