We were in an elders quorum presidency together and planned a watch party for some BYU game... We had a budget for it and were just going to get crappy pizza but he wasn't a fan so he called one of the nicer pizza places and talked to the guy and basically said "what kind of deal can I get if we get ten? Could you do $X" and negotiated with the guy to get them about the same price as the cheap place.

It's funny to remember all the weird little roommate things (he'd often pop popcorn and forget about it in the microwave and we'd find it hours later stone cold... Seriously? Who does that?) and to see him all big time now...

But yeah, great guy. Likes to have fun and is a big BYU football fan (or was at the time).

I was mission companions with him too, he was a good missionary.
