that I am part of is already quite small, and our M.O. is buying very small healthcare companies and consolidating their back office, so we're unlikely to pick up a spare CFO somewhere along the way.

My best bet is that we attract the attention of a large strategic buyer at some point, but that's probably a couple of years away. Gives me something to daydream about on those days when I'm not enjoying my job, though. 🙂
