Essentially got a 3-weeks paid vacation with a tidy severance package on the way. Was planning to put in my notice before EOM anyways. Will not pretend the uncertainty was not a gut punch despite already interviewing seriously, since nothing is a sure thing and, in this economy, offers are given and rescinded before start dates.
