At this point, the branding value associated with both names (especially the
Lakers) far exceeds any concern for whether the name “fits” the location.
Plus, do we really want to see the Jazz try to come up with a more appropriate name that ends in ZZ?

Jazz is a good name and so is Lakers. Who cares? Boggles my mind that it bothers people as much as it does
