They also have one of the space shuttles. We've taken our kids to the one at
Dulles twice and spent several hours both times. I strongly recommend it.
The Air and Space Museum on the Mall was extremely dated and our kids were pretty bored. But it's currently closed for several years for a thorough renovation.
