has been equivalent or better than on my Hyundai Tucson. I use cheap tires on both. I actually paid less for 4 new tires on my leaf than my tucson. They don't require the use of special tires as some of these articles try to imply. And if you keep them inflated properly and don't drive differently than you would with an ICE vehicle it's no different. All of the things I see saying EVs pay more for tires say that it's because they use special tires or because they accelerate faster and show off or other dumb things. Basically they aren't doing an apples to apples comparison. EVs don't eat tires any faster than ICE cars if you drive them the same way and maintain them properly.
