Yeah, Kilmer is nuts. 1) New car tires don't last that long. It's not uncommon to replace them earlier than average on
every make/model.

2) the "testing acceleration" is driving habit/style. YOU won't see any difference in tire life between your current car and your EV, assuming you drive the same, alignment is good, and your tire rating is up to the task of your weight (see next).

3) "increased weight". What does that have to do with tire life? My 4wds can get 50-60k+ out of a good tire, don't buy cheap tires for your EV.

One thing is true, "dark secret" works really good on thumbnails and funnels clicks and $$..
