If you enjoy spirited driving and your alignment is off even a twitch, 30k is not unheard of. My BMW 540i had
mis-matched tire sizes (bigger in the rear). This meant no front-to-back rotations. I was changing tires all the time.
Add to the craze that all higher end (expensive EV) cars need 20" or larger wheel sizes with expensive lo-pros, and it's not surprising tire life is half that as a Corolla on 16s. None of that has anything to do with being an EV though.
