It’s like when the B12 chose WVU over Louisville. Louisville was the upside option while WVU was more established. In hindsight I think most wish they would’ve taken Louisville. You have to view program based on what they’d look like long term in your conference and not necessarily what they look like now.

If you look at it from this perspective, SDSU is much more attractive than basically anyone other than UW & UO if the AZ schools join.
