People think of Oregon as an Oregon team, but they have very few local players on their roster. There just aren’t that many to choose from.

To be a national contender, they recruit California. And here’s the thing, _everyone_ in the pac-12 recruited LA.

Utah got such a gift not only being in the conference but in the south with one trip a year to LA.

So, two things.

First how much does Iowa and Wisconsin and everyone else take a bite out of that now that they’re the ones who are visiting USC and UCLA?

And two, how much does that change hurt ASU, Oregon, Utah and everyone else who used to depend on it?

Anyway, all that to say, I agree SDSU is intriguing as a Big 12 invite. Especially if the Big 12 brings in ASU, or ASU, Oregon and Washington as well.
