The real question is which of the remaining PAC institutions bring value and might be willing to jump ship first. OR, WA, Cal, and Stanford are not going to simply jump ship to the Big 12. They all think they are B1G material. That leaves ASU, UA, CU, OSU, UU, and WSU. The best play for the Big 12 is to go for UA and ASU and see what happens with the other four B1G wanna be’s. If the PAC implodes, CU and UU will always be available. No need to take them unnecessarily. Don’t forget what happened to the PAC in 2010 by overvaluing CU.
