Huge city, fertile recruiting grounds, good facilities, administration willing to spend big

Houston has a lot going for it. They just have a lot of obstacles (most specifically Texas, Texas A&M, and LSU who likely all have more fans there and also heavily recruit there).

Boise St is kind of the opposite. There's no real opposition, but much less upside
