its cool but its old news. Mika played in the 2 games at start of July. These
are the qualifying games for qualfiying for the 2023 FIBA world cup. The qualifying games are spread out throughout 2022. Like for soccer, the coach can call in different players for every batch/window of games.

The next two games are in Vegas August 25 against Uruguay and then August 29th at Colombia.

The US roster for these two August games has not been publicly announced yet. Unless you know Mika personally, maybe they already told him he is on it.

It is an exciting thing to be a part of, but also most of these players would rather have a steady high-paying job on a pro team. It is good to get some attention if the particular player is not signed on a pro team at the moment.

I could imagine that if USA qualifies for the FIBA world cup, they would bring in better players (like maybe some NBA rotation regulars or NBA stars) to participate in the actual world cup in August 2023 in Philippines/Japan/Indonesia.

For the 2 games Mika played in in July, the writeup for one of the games mentioned he had a key tip in toward end of 3rd quarter. I could not find a box score for the games.
