To me, to everyone except the Seahawks, it was obvious to give the ball to Marshawn. Worst case scenario they got stuffed once and took some time off the clock. It was more like 40 seconds if I remember correctly. I remember thinking, “Getting stuffed might be good, actually. Less time Brady has with the ball the better.” No way the Pats defense was going to stop Marshawn twice. The chance of that happening is dwarfed by the chance of throwing an INT with 11 yards of route space.
