Sure. In the 1970s, I was basically trying to landscape a corner of my parent’s large backyard into an alpine forest.
I loved the mountains and I was trying to have a piece of them in my SLC yard. I’m no different almost 50 years later.
I was always very secretive when I went digging in the mountains, though. I’m sure you’re not supposed to remove trees except from private property. But, I was elated when I figured out how to make transplanting work.
