Sometimes I have to remind myself, Insurance = Contractual obligation to pay
Medical Care = the care you actually receive.
Medical insurance is a business and runs the entire medical game, but due to the vast amounts of fraud and possibility for fraud in a multi-level highly complex system the insurance company is going to slow things down and find ways to reduce the possibility of fraud and corruption in others to help make sure the insurance companies remain profitable.
