Is there a reason we’re tempering expectations for the USF game?
Don’t give me the “BYU always disappoints” narrative. In 2020, BYU beat Navy by 52 points to start the season. That was a historically good BYU team, but this USF team is worse than that Navy team, and this years BYU team is more talented than 2020. Apart from Gerry Bohanon, does USF have anyone who could compete for a starting spot at BYU? Not trying to be elitist, but I’m genuinely curious. USF went 2-10 last year, beating Florida A&M and Temple. Why are we expecting anything other than a blowout for the first game?
