Add to it, the independent schedules were awful and that was the exact time Utah finally started winning in the PAC 12. I actually agree with the premise that Kalani and Tuiaki have to improve recruiting. I do not agree with anyone that suggests they are poor recruiters. Any coach at BYU was going to face a huge hurdle in these circumstances. They turned it around and last year we saw that Utah with 10 + years in the PAC is not that much further ahead than the Kalani and Tuiaki coached BYU team. What they have done for this program is tremendous. The need to do better but dont forget what they have already accomplished.
