I want to clarify that I don't think that HE is lazy. I think he 100% believes that his schemes give us the best chance to win. And I think he works very hard to implement those schemes and game plans. Sometimes they work, often they don't against good to great teams. Maybe he thinks it's a colossal waste of time to spend a few weeks a year really tweaking the scheme and game plan? I don't know. It seems to be the case. I think the home crowd can make his defense seem better than it really is. So he's kinda complacent because, occasionally, with the help of a raucous home crowd/ROC/confused opponents that can't hear their calls right, etc it seems to work anyway.

I was really hoping for a KWhitt-style defense when we brought these guys in. Didn't happen. Appears that it won't ever happen.
