The point was not that BYU-I people are unemployable, but that people recognize the difference between BYU-I and
BYU here. Nobody thinks BYU-I is part of BYU anymore than they think Colorado School of Mines is part of the University of Colorado.

The company I work for is based out of Arkansas and has multiple BYU-I grads and doesn’t have any BYU grads.
