It has been a couple years so I don't know if it has changed, but we had no
issues with young kids. Of course, we weren't out late at night with them. It is one of our favorite domestic vacations with tons to do. City Park, WW2 museum, great zoo, swamp boat tour, Oak Alley Plantation.....Just don't do the Mardi Gras museum, it was probably the worst museum I've been to
