If it bothers you that much, you should gone and talked to them. Not yelled from the stand up at them. Not called
event staff. During a TV timeout, halftime, go talk to them. Go say, "Hey, can we tone the language down. Myself and other fans around me are a little concerned at the language being used. If we can bring down to a PG level, it would be appreciated."

I swear. I used to be pretty good. And then I spent a year in Afghanistan with the infantry in 2008 and came back swearing much more than I ever did. Swearing doesn't bother me. Like at all. But I know it does others. I am aware when I'm in public to watch my language. I am especially careful when there are children around.

Sometimes people just aren't aware that the language they are using is bothering those around them. Perhaps speaking to them in a personal 1v1 manner could have made a difference. A non-confrontational way could have ameliorated the situation.

And at the same time, if they chose not to, you have to respect their decision to be rude and offensive. And use it as a learning experience for yourself and those with you that not everyone chooses to be respectful with their language or when informed of how their behavior is being perceived by others. And there's not much you can do at that point, but use it as an example of how you don't want to be.
