Yes we are not perfect. No team is. When a top ten team, that landed the nations #1 recruiting class, can lose at home to a team that just became FBS... everyone should learn something from that. It is exactly what Nick Saban says in the linked video... HE doesn't take any game or any team for granted, and for good reason. He recognizes that the fans do, but he doesn't. There are no gimme's in college sports.

When people say we are not a top 25 team I wonder who is better? I think we could beat many of the teams currently in the top 25, if we play a great game.

And that is kind of my point. Sports isn't about thrashing a team by 50 points. Sports is about the competition. Beating your opponent, again, again, and again... play by play by play. Many battles (each play) trying to win the war (the game). Showing up to play. But learning in games is part of the fun. Overcoming your struggles is a cool part of sports. We've done that.
