Personal fouls and offsides by the defense kept them on the field.
Most of the defensive struggles were due to lack of discipline. That is squarely on the coaches to fix. Not the offenses fault several committed personal fouls and jumped offsides.
Don't forget just before the pick six the O was fire on all cylinders. A two play drive for a TD. The D's second series was the only bright spot of their first quarter.
