Alfrey wasn't reading his keys. Most coverages a safety doesn't move into his
backpedal right at the snap. His eyes should be on the tackle, who will tell you immediately if it's run or pass. If the tackle fires off, you start downhill to help. Alfrey was starting his backpedal right at the snap and taking himself out of the play.

He's young. I can guarantee he's been told this, and in film this week will get an earful. It is on the coaches to get this out of him. I think they were probably thin at Safety, otherwise he'd have found himself on the bench being told this during the game.
