He isn’t the kind of talent you mold an offense around like Utah did with Kuithe & Kincaid pre-Kuithe injury.
He likes the way uses their TE’s and I get it.
He’s a good player. He’s not on that level to the point where an OC structures a big game plan for. I’ll admit maybe he could become so in time.
He isn’t on Kuithe, Kincaid or even Rex’s level. At least not yet and it’s arguable whether he’s shown he will be. He’s good. He’s not their level of good. Kuithe & Rex were special when they first came to BYU & Utah as was evidenced by how much they were both used when first they got here.
BYU has played to their strengths on offense which is a very good and deep WR corps with maybe the most accurate passer we’ve had.
I agree BYU could’ve targeted Rex & Holker more in the Oregon game but whether that would’ve made much of a difference in the outcome of the game is highly debatable.
