recruiting classes year in and year out. BYU has no business keeping the game close with the talent disparity. I’ve heard the arguments that if the recruiting is bad it’s also the coaches fault. That’s true to an extent, but BYU has very serious recruiting limitations. It a very foreign concept to non-LDS college students that a cup of green tea or coffee will get you suspended from school and keep you out of heaven. Most college kids like to use their college years to have fun and let loose a little. I’m fairly confident if we could switch rosters with ND we’d have a different defensive scheme. So if by some miracle we can complete with the big boys of college football, the players and coaches deserve credit for overachieving.
