But doesn’t sound like infantile spasms. Typically, infantile spasms is associated with severe disability/delay, which granted may be tricky sometimes to pick up in infants.
Infants make a log of random movements. Additionally, sandifer syndrome is a much much more common mimic, and is completely benign.
Regardless, infantile spasms is considered a true ‘emergency’, especially since there is treatment that can change outcomes. Primary’s does these evals in the ED all the time - just overnight eeg.
