Basically says
- doesn't expect media rights until 2024
- what's happened with other conferences
- UCLA being forced to stay (very unlikely) would drastically change things
- 10 teams remain committed to one another and are negotiating with ESPN, FOX, CBS, Amazon, etc
- He'll bring deal to ADs to sign GOR once it is resolved, doesn't anticipate issues with that
Reading between the lines, I think the idea is that they won't sign before Dec 14, because the UCLA status won't be completely resolved until then. It's very unlikely they stay, but because it would be such a game changer, that's delaying things.
After that, finalizing the deal, getting all the GORs and dealing with the Christmas holidays probably pushes it into next year.
