The best I’ve known is an old Aztec remedy shared with us by an elderly native
Woman when we live down in Mexico:
Mix honey, eucalyptus leaves, squeezed lemon, and bougainvillea petals. I believe we boiled them together in water- I don’t remember exactly how much.
It worked better than anything I’ve ever tried from the pharmacy/ drugstore.
