UVU is not comparable to BYU academically. And they shouldn't be competitive athletically either. BYU is the bigger school (brand, not enrollment), with way more accolades. UVU is a great option for a lot of kids, but that doesn't make it a great school. It can be a great option, a great experience, etc. But it is not a great school academically. I have family there. I'm not trying to be overly demeaning to anyone who works at or attends UVU. Those are just the facts.
