1: Making fun of someone who represents our rival school is a part of a rivalry. Doesnt matter if the person is a weird looking fan showing up at a BYU game dressed all in red, a QB who has a massive helmet for some reason, or a male cheerleader who is dancing crazy at the Rose Bowl. All of these people are going to get teased by their rival fans. I am sure the exact same thing occurs with our fans, players and cheerleaders doing things that make Ute fans laugh. That is part of sports.

2: Making fun of the Ute Cheerleader for dancing weird and being super goofy looking is fine. But, at least on Cougarboard, there isn't any gay bashing going on. People arent calling him slurs or making jokes about him because of his perceived sexuality. Everyone is simply laughing at the guy for what is objectively a funny clip. If people start making gay jokes that crosses the line, and I am sure there are jokes like that on Twitter or other platforms, but I havent seen any of that on Cougarboard. Adding to this point, I have no clue if the guy is even gay. Maybe he is, maybe he isnt. Either way that has no bearing on me laughing at the clip of him. It is just a funny clip.

3: There have been literally dozens of jokes since the Rose Bowl about the Utes and players from the game, Cam Rising and his massive helmet have probably had a good chunk of those jokes. But I havent seen any Ute posters or BYU fans chastize others for making those jokes, a Ute cheerleader still represents his school and still gets a scholarship, and possible even NIL money. As such he represents Utah just as much as Cam Rising does. So I dont understand why some think it is ok to make jokes about Cam Rising, but we cant make jokes about a Male Cheerleader.

So yeah, I get what you are trying to say, and respect that you are not very belligerent on here like other Ute fans. But I do not see why this guy has to be defended by you and other posters.
