Whether it's fair or not, JT's response was the right one. He showed sympathy
and compassion to someone who just lost their Dad a week ago. He may very well help by explaining to her exactly what you just said. She's clearly in the process of grief. Denial, anger, depression, etc...she may very well look back on this and wonder why she did that? But right now she's hurt. I don't know why we would make this a big deal on the board and call her an entitled Karen. We just need to let her grieve and let people like JT respond to them with compassion. Sure, she made it public, I get that. But who cares, we don't have to make her feel worse. Just ignore it.

I love how brave she is to no longer allow random people to reply to her after she asks for people to reach out to her.

Ya, everyone loses loved ones but her situation is different, worse, and harder than others so please give her sympathy.
