Considering all the benefits doctors get that staff don’t, like free food, more pay, and in many situations less scrutiny than staff for bad behaviors or care. I’ve seen doctors literally get away with murder. Too many are still egomaniacs or cheaters.
This said, good doctors who focus on patients are great boom to the system’s in which they work and help drive patient/customer loyalty and revenues, while working long hours. So thank you if you’re one of those.
But don’t pretend like you need more attention than other staff, especially if you are LIPs and not employed. Nurses are still generally the true hero’s. You change anyone’s diaper lately at an average of $36 hour?
