easy one. Too much elevation gain and probably drop that to 2 or 3 miles. We can take turns carrying the 4 year old and the other 3 are decent hikers if we keep them busy with snacks and games etc. We had a blast on some hikes in Glacier, Arches, and Capitol Reef last year. But we want to balance strenuous hiking with good destinations and just having a good time as a family, which means spending time in camp making good food some of the days.
