I apologize for not getting back to you yet, I've been busy.
Lewis Lake campground is pretty, and less busy than other more centrally-located campgrounds. The sites are a little close together, and the mosquitoes were kind of bad. If you can acquire a screen room of some sort, it will be much more pleasant.
LL is also a bit of a drive to everything, since it's so far south, but I can give you some suggestions and tips in a boardmail. If you have a canoe, that could be fun, but you do need to take a little care near the extreme south end of the lake. Nothing too concerning if you aren't an idiot (heard a story of someone who went over the falls at the exit).
