Pope is not a good coach. Resetting going into the big 12 seems like a poor idea but I'm not sure if it's any worse than letting a guy who clearly cannot coach continue to do so for a couple more years.
I would prefer a coach that gets commits rather than gets guys leaning only to see them go elsewhere.
