to be able to win at BYU without be a solid in game coach that thrives with game prep. Even if we had Nick Saban in football, BYU would not bring in a top recruiting class in the Big 12 due to recruiting limitations and lack of crazy NIL money. We need a Saint Mary's structure in order to be successful, players that have been playing with each other for years and disciplined to run an efficient game.
Pope seems to be trying to get the most athletic team on the court and I'm not sure that's going to be a possibility in the Big 12 when we're competing against 5/4 stars. Do we really think we're going to out talent the Big 12?
