P5 has nothing to do with being "worthy."
You don't win your way into the P5, it's only one small component of the larger picture. Boise has had way more success than Utah ever had as a G5, they're still out in the cold.
And it's not like Utah is winning nattys or making the playoffs perennially or anything anyway. They're going 10-4 and losing in an auto bid to a NY6 game, all of this in the weakest conference in the P5. So I wouldn't get too caught up in being "worthy" of anything.
