Meh...I don't think every civilian was a fault. Change the OP to the perspective
of a Japanese child.
Yes, they were all misguided and brainwashed and the US can justify many of its actions but that's not the point being made here.
On a side note Robert McNamara in the Fog of War gives some really interesting takes on this. He thinks he should have been convicted of War Crimes for the fire bombings of Japan. He's says he's lucky we won, so he didn't have to be tried as a War Criminal.
