Honest answers
1) purportedly there is an escalator clause in the Big12 media agreement that would pay new members equal shares. Granted I wont claim to know specifics.
2. This may be a false assumption. I think most people here recognize the PAC10 wanting to stay together if possible, and that is most likely to happen.
