The case against Trey Stewart and Noah Waterman
Both of these players are great people, but there simply isn't enough upside to keep them on scholarship. Trey graduated from high school in 2019 and served a mission and has played two years at BYU. After all these years, this season he still only shot 12% from 3, 25% from the field, and 50% from the foul line. How can he triple his efficiency from 3 in just one year and improve his shooting overall? It's not possible. And finally, Trey's shooting form and mechanics are terrible and make it even more unlikely that he can made the needed improvements.

Noah has played college ball for four years. I don't expect him to improve much more. He makes a lot of mental mistakes which may be even more difficult to remedy than than improving other aspects of his game. His shooting percentage declined dramatically during league play.
