is easier, and signing a whole new contract is a lot more involved is Clownzano trying to look at it through his turd filled kaleidoscope. True reupping is probably easier, but I don't think at this point in time Apple is trying to hammer out any more details, they have their offer on the table with exactly what they expect and are now waiting on the pac to accept it.

Everyone is talking about the streaming vs linear aspect with any deal, which is a huge thing, and the pac presidents have basically said they don't want more that 50% streaming. With the Apple deal, most of it would be streaming and we know the pac won't accept that right now, but probably will have to down the road. But if what has been rumored about the deal's payout is true, a sliding scale based on subscriptions, the pac is smart enough to know the payout number could be much less, plus less visibility, makes for a horrible deal for them.

All Apple is doing is waiting for the pac to finally agree.
