I've never seen ND with 8 home games (looking at you, Ohio State/SEC West)
They always play 6 home games with the Shamrock Series GENERALLY, but not always, being considered a home game, but it usually requires travel (Vegas, Boston, Dublin, Texas, etc.). A few times they've played in Chicago area.

I just think it's funny how CB reacts to anything ND says like it's the worst thing ever (and I'm not saying you were doing that per se).

ND makes ACC-type money with their Independent TV/NBC deal, even though everyone always assumed they were making Big Ten type of money. Maybe in the 90's they were "ahead of the game" but now they are in the same boat as everyone else NOT in the SEC/B1G when it comes to TV revenue.

ND will actually fail athletes that miss too many classes (not as big of a problem in football but could have been in basketball). No one is doing that in the SEC. ND's starting QB several years back got caught cheating and actually got expelled; he ended up at FSU the next week. UNC has been caught with (basically) school-sponsored cheating. I know of one clerical error where a football player decommitted from Ohio State at the last minute and went to a different school and still got a 2.0 his first semester at Ohio State without ever setting foot on campus.

I will admit I'm biased as an ND alum who interacted with Jack Swarbrick on a regular basis while there but so much flies around here on CB that is just plain inaccurate when it comes to ND. ND really does actually care about the student athlete, it's one of the reasons they underperform if you ask me, and I think what he's advocating for is 100% correct AND something that his school 100% believes in.
