1st experience. They resurfaced our streets a few months ago. The whole neighborhood has to park out on another road for a couple days. Our car got hit. We didnt notice at first. Later we did and we’re bugged but what am I gonna do? A month later we get a knock on the door. A lady said she noticed we drove a car similar to the one she hit. She left a note but we never got it. So, she has been watching the neighborhood for a month hoping to find us. She paid for the damages.
2nd experience. About 2 months ago. My car is in a parking lot where my son works. He comes out to eat during his break. A man taps his window and says he has been waiting for an hour because he accidentally hit our car. He hands my son $500, apologizes and leaves.
Those two experiences within a month of each other reminded me there are a lot of great people around.
