Kedon Slovis vs Charlie Brewer
Rewind your minds before the 2021 season for a sec. Brewer, a QB transfer from a P5 program, had a bevy of experience against P5 teams, a ton of passing yards and TDs, and a lot of hype/poise in Spring and Fall camp going into the season.
As the season begins, Brewer is lackluster and he folds at Utah. Rising gets put in and becomes their savior, they win the P12 championship back to back and attend the Rose Bowl twice (and lose).
I hope and EXPECT Slovis to pan out (mainly because of ARod) BUT, if by the small chance he doesn't, and we start the season rough, who comes in and plays the Rising role. Retzlaff? Finnegan? Or do we not have that on our QB depth chart?
